Starting with early patents for rough terrain forklifts in the 1970's, Gary Dannar's career has continuously centered on innovation and new product development. His corporate responsibilities spanned North America and across Europe and Asia, in leadership roles for several corporations, including Ford Motor Co., The General, New Holland, and Alamo Group. Throughout his career, Gary has worked independently and collaboratively with other engineers to bring forward-thinking solutions to a demanding workplace. Today, Gary is an established leader and industry innovator, with an entrepreneurial spirit.

DD DANNAR, LLC, was launched in 2011 from an awareness that the big companies (OEMs) were not focused on a purpose-built solution utilizing an alternative power supply and new technologies. New emissions standards, along with increasing climate resiliency needs, the impacts were experienced across multiple industries relying on heavy-duty equipment. With knowledge that all municipalities, governmental agencies and private companies are required to do more with less, Dannar kept budgetary concerns in the forefront of engineering designs. Through disciplined innovation, DANNAR introduced the first true alternatively powered heavy equipment for the governmental sector in 2016, the DANNAR Mobile Power Station® (MPS). The MPS establishes many firsts in the off-road industry, but none more important than establishment of a new category of zero-emission work machinery built for the future. Deliveries of 4th Generation Mobile Power Stations® began in 2019.
